As the time of sunset approaches, our shadows grow in length to extend over 50' long for a 5' tall person. The tall stone near the center of the photograph is the Summer Solstice Sunrise stone -- the Sun is in the opposite direction for the Winter Solstice Sunset on Dec. 21, 2006.
