Shortly after sunrise, as the Sun makes its way slightly to the South of East, visitors play with shadow shapes. Notice that the shadows point slightly to the North of the West stone portal after sunrise, indicating that the Sun has already moved away from the due East direction, where it rose on the Equniox. As the Sun appears through the trees, the visitors marvel at the first sunrise of spring, March 21, 2006.
