Allen starting to drill holes in the bottoms of the stones as Tom Adams films from atop the South stone. For safety reasons, two-foot long stainless steel pins were added to the design of the Sunwheel. Half is in the stone itself, (the reason for the drilling above,) and half extends into the granite slabs beneath the stones.
